Bowling!

Well, the annual date auction was last week to raise money for Prom.  Kyle was auctioned off and took Bryn with him (and a blank check!)....well, no one told Bryn that it is NOT a good idea to bid against yourself, so she stole a bowling date with her Dad for a mere $95 buckaroos!  Like last year, the girls really enjoyed bowling and perhaps may be the last year for Bryn to enjoy before she goes to school all day.  They had a great time and both had great scores...of course, the bumper guards helped! :)

They think these shoes are cool...I do too, they are velcro, durable, and wouldn't show too much dirt!

Happy Birthday Adelyn Jade!

Well...the actual birthday has come and gone....but it was a great day well spent.  Our baby turned 5 and she celebrated with her fellow classmates at preschool.  After everyone sung happy birthday to her (note her shy faces!), she shared some "birthday cake popcorn" (YUM!) and then gave them a rainbow twizzler with a balloon on top that read "hip hip hooray, Adelyn turned 5 today".  Her friends were happy to celebrate with her and I thought it was cute that she was sitting at a table full of boys :)  And if you were wondering where she chose her birthday dinner....CHIPOTLE, of course.

The Wizard of Oz themed birthday was a hit and Adelyn had a great time with her family.  She says her favorite thing was opening her presents....she has been playing a ton with her new tote bag while wearing her tye-dyed cowboy hat!  

Go fly a kite...really!

Last day of spring break, what a beautiful day to fly a kite!  The kids did a great job and never got tangled up...only argued over who's kite was higher! :D

Happy Easter!

We had a lot of Easter activities over the last few days and it ended with the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy at our house on the same night!!  The girls really enjoyed all the goodies involved and hunting eggs never gets old!  40 eggs were hidden in our living room... Bryn even had to move the dog as he was laying on an egg that was hidden on his bed :)
