Happy Birthday BRYNLEIGH!

What a great 5th birthday! Bryn celebrated with a Rapunzel themed party and had a blast. We played a game called tangled where we strung string all around the back yard and at the end of each person's string was a prize! We also played a hidden puzzle game where each piece was hidden in the back yard and the kids had to find all the pieces and put the puzzle together.

Today, on her actual birthday, we went to the Dr. for her 5 year well check. Everything checked out well and she is growing great. The Dr. was impressed with her knowledge and the nurse was quite impressed with her braveness with all 4 shots...she didn't even cry! She got to pick the place for lunch...she chose McDonalds :) Then we spent the afternoon at the pool and she talked her dad into getting Donatos for dinner. She is getting so big and I can hardly believe it has been 5 years ago since our lives changed drastically...for the better :)

Swim lessons are over!

After spending 2 cold, rainy weeks of swimming at 9am, swim lessons are over and the girls passed their classes! Bryn has shown much improvement with front and back floats and is still working on perfecting her back stroke. She has even learned to do flips in the water! Ady is still wild and crazy in the water but has improved on her arm "scoops" (strokes)...basically her class time was spent playing games in the water :)

Happy Fathers day, lets go fishing!

Kyle got a wild idea to take the girls to Hoover Dam to do some fishing (ohhh, what fun!?!?) It actually went better than I expected and the girls did really great. Bryn was able to cast really good, although no one caught anything!

Towards the end, Ady was doing more messing in the water as her interest in fishing quickly faded. If your wondering why she doesn't have her skirt on anymore....well, she had to go potty and her mother didn't plan well with the aim of our stance :)
Oh, and this is the best! While Kyle was out wading in the pic below (his line got stuck below on some rocks) well, I moved over towards the tackle box to see if we had something to cut his line. Then, no tackle box....I suddenly see a man walking up the paved path with it!! So, I sprinted through weeds and over the goose poop until I caught up to tell him "I think you have our tackle box". His response was "oh, I just thought I found it" and I took it from him. No apologies, nothing. Well, I am just thankful the shady character didn't pull a weapon or beat me up over the hooks and boppers :)

Crazy swimmers!

We finally got a membership to the pool! Look at these crazy girls...getting ready to do some serious swimming!!!

Happy Birthday to my friend!

Bryn (Miss Social) was invited to yet another birthday party! This one was held at Build a Bear at Easton. She had a blast with all of her friends and was so proud of the bear she created! She called it "Rapunzel" :)
