Randomness...let's go to a hockey game!

At 3:00 today we decided to meet Jody and Justin at the 5:00 Bluejackets game! The kids had no idea what to expect but as we were walking from the parking garage to Nationwide Arena, we saw 2 little boys all WOUND up for the game....needless to say, the girls became really excited for what they were about to see :)

We ate lots of popcorn and other snacks brought from home, laughed when the players "konked into the wall", and carefully watched the crew team skate around to clean up the ice! On our way home, I asked Bryn if she liked the game. Her response was "what game"...Kyle and I looked at each other and busted out laughing...guess we got our answer :)

I love listening to the girls sing this song...sadly, after today it will be silenced until next February. Bryn had a fantastic day at preschool and wore her special attire. She looked forward to this day all weekend and received lots of favors from her friends! Ady was invited into the class for the last 10 minutes....she welcomed herself to Bryn's table of friends and made herself at home. She shed her coat and Miss Sue graciously offered her a plate of snack...she loved every minute and even joined the class during carpet time!

The 1st loose tooth is out!

While eating Trix for breakfast, Bryn's loose tooth fell out! She was able to spit it out then run to me in excitement..."Mom, my tooth fell out, my TOOTH fell out"! She went to preschool today standing a little taller and shared her excitement with her teachers and ALL of her classmates :D

Watch out tooth fairy!

Bryn's bottom tooth is getting more loose...it won't be too much longer and the tooth fairy will be paying her a visit!

A child that volunteers to run the sweeper...every mother's DREAM! Ok, maybe not EVERY mother, but it puts a smile on this mother's face! :D

Break is over...back to the routine!

While we enjoyed the time off--the disruption in schedule--everyone was "ready" to get back into a routine...including me! Bryn went back to preschool yesterday and we went to Kyle's basketball game last night. While both girls gave good effort, Bryn was especially exhausted by evening...she even stretched out on the bleachers at the game! Well, during "rest" time today, I hadn't heard too much out of Bryn, so I ran upstairs to see what she was doing. Below is what I found! :)

Opps, there she is...sleeping BEHIND her door...don't tell anyone that she surrendered to wicked (in her mind) SLEEP!

Looks like the girl who never naps, needed a good "rest" :D

By the way, she will be picking up this mess when she wakes up!
