Milkshakes!

What a way to end the day...ride our bikes, play at the park, and suck down some homemade vanilla MILKSHAKES!!! Yum Yum!

Safety Town fun

As a special treat for the final day of swim lessons, we packed up the bikes and took the kids to Safety town in New Albany. Bryn did a nice job obeying the signs---Ady was a total disaster!

Bryn passed!!

We just got back from Bryn's last day at Swim Lessons! She has shown much improvement and is able to swim a good distance all by herself!! She passed the "FROG" level and is now approved to take level 3 (there are a total of 4 skill levels). We are super proud of her :)

Kings Island!

We made our first visit to Kings Island & the kids had a BLAST! Bryn's favorite was the Woodstock Express (a.k.a. the Beasty) and the bumper cars. Ady pretty much loved everything, even the log ride! My favorite moment caught on picture was Bryn's first time on the roller coaster...at the end, she reenacted what her face looked like going down the hill! :) Oh yes, we brought home some of those overstuffed prizes...Bryn thought it was fun to watch her Daddy try to win those prizes!!

Ocean Isle Beach 2010

We had a good time while vacationing at Ocean Isle Beach, NC! Bryn really enjoyed riding the waves, and Ady had a great time putt-putting and swimming at the pool! We spent lots of time at the beach and pool, but also found time to ride in a helicopter, putt putt, visit Bald Head Island, ride rides at a mini carnival, go fishing, and eat LOTS of icecream!!!

Ady potty training???

The plan was to wait until after vacation to tackle Ady and the potty issue. Well, tonight Jody came over while I was bathing the kids. She offered to take Ady out and dress her while I got Bryn out. When they finished, we all gathered in Bryn's room. Ady proceeded to "toot" and looked at Jody and said "I farted"! She then ran over to Jody and said "I have to potty" and walked over to the bathroom and lifted up her nightgown. I noticed that Jody forgot to put and diaper on her, so we were chuckling. Ady sat on the potty, had a rather long pee, then wiped and flushed the toilet! We then put on some panties and she didn't have an accident! I put a diaper on her around 10ish, so she went a whole 2 hours...HORRAH for Ady Jade!!! Timing is a bit off for us, but Ady has never been one to play by the rules :)

Bryn turned 4!!!

Happy Birthday to Brynleigh Mae!! She turned 4, so we had a family gathering to celebrate! She picked out a "Little Mermaid" cake...and LOVED the frosting (her nose couldn't hide it)! I can't believe our birthday princess is already 4 years old...time sure does fly...
