Last day of school

Onward and Upward! Officially completed 1st and 2nd grade....whoooo hoooo!  Time for a fun summer ;)

Cleveland trip

While Kyle attended a short conference in Cleveland, we went along to hang out and see some sites!  We visited the aquarium and a couple memorials!  Bryn thinks "sharks are scary"...Ady writes "sock are cool" :D

Happy 7th Birthday Adelyn!

Can't believe the baby of the house has turned 7!  We celebrated by having a friends party at the house with games, pizza, cake, and lots of fun!  She chose to eat at her favorite restaurant on her special day...Max & Ermas!  YUM!

Build a Bear

The girls decided to spend some Christmas money they received.  So, when winter sports finally gave us some much needed free time, we took them to Kenwood mall where they could use their money to create whatever stuffed creature they liked.  Adelyn picked a brown bunny and named it Hoppy.  Bryn picked the rainbow colored bunny and named it Skipper.  Check out the outfits they picked out...they had so much fun!

First time ROLLER SKATING!

It sounded super fun, and it ended well....but good grief it is so hard to teach a child how to roller skate!  I laughed and laughed and laughed and we had quite a bit of falls (not Kyle or I thank goodness!) but we all walked out having a great time.  Did I mention how grossed out Kyle and I were at a skating rink in general...we all came home and showered...ewwww!

Winter sports

Bryn kept us busy playing lots of 2nd grade basketball and Adelyn cheered for her 2nd year in Upward.  Both had an excellent season...learned a ton, formed some good friendships, and most of all had fun!  

Christmas 2014

I shouldn't make excuses, but man this computer is lightyears old in computer years...I am seeing grey hairs grow in as I wait as it uploads...I dread spending even a moment on here, but the blog is well overdue to be updated and figured its a good thing to do on a rainy day :)

So here are some Christmas pics...the girls got everything on their list and more...here are a few of their favorites!  For some reason, "dorothy shoes" seems to make Adelyn's list from year to year LOL
