Go Daddy Go!

Cbus 10 mile race was today...we went to cheer Kyle on but he finished too fast so we met him at the finish line :D The first thing Bryn asked was "Did you win"...life to her is all about winning :)

Happy birthday Ady!

For Ady's 3rd birthday, we celebrated with a weekend of fun! We attended a high school production of The Wizard of Oz, went to the YMCA for some pool fun, and ate at a McDonald's that had a play area! By the day's end, everyone was exhausted, but a fun time was had by all :D

"Happy Tooth Fairy day!"

We put the kids down tonight in a usual routine....15-20 minutes later we heard Bryn yelling about her tooth. I ran up with Kyle lagging behind to find Bryn holding her 2nd loose tooth in her hand (with blood flowing in her mouth). She began to tell her story of how she put her blankie in her mouth then pulled it out and that is when the loose tooth came out!! We cleaned her up (surprisingly the blood did not freak her out!), made a few calls, then put the tooth under her pillow. She was beyond excitement! We took a few pics and she would say "Happy Tooth Fairy day"! She will have many friends to tell tomorrow at preschool :D

Happy (early) Birthday Ady!

This afternoon we had some family over to celebrate Adelyn turning 3 years old! She had a fantastic time and received lots of gifts and books! She got a little shy/embarassed when the attention was completely on her (like when we sang Happy Birthday and opened presents) but she was able to get through it. She enjoyed her "sleeping beauty" cake and took full advantage of indulging in whatever she liked because mom said so..."it's her birthday!!" :D

More celebrating to come on April 9th!

Randomness...let's go to a hockey game!

At 3:00 today we decided to meet Jody and Justin at the 5:00 Bluejackets game! The kids had no idea what to expect but as we were walking from the parking garage to Nationwide Arena, we saw 2 little boys all WOUND up for the game....needless to say, the girls became really excited for what they were about to see :)

We ate lots of popcorn and other snacks brought from home, laughed when the players "konked into the wall", and carefully watched the crew team skate around to clean up the ice! On our way home, I asked Bryn if she liked the game. Her response was "what game"...Kyle and I looked at each other and busted out laughing...guess we got our answer :)

I love listening to the girls sing this song...sadly, after today it will be silenced until next February. Bryn had a fantastic day at preschool and wore her special attire. She looked forward to this day all weekend and received lots of favors from her friends! Ady was invited into the class for the last 10 minutes....she welcomed herself to Bryn's table of friends and made herself at home. She shed her coat and Miss Sue graciously offered her a plate of snack...she loved every minute and even joined the class during carpet time!

The 1st loose tooth is out!

While eating Trix for breakfast, Bryn's loose tooth fell out! She was able to spit it out then run to me in excitement..."Mom, my tooth fell out, my TOOTH fell out"! She went to preschool today standing a little taller and shared her excitement with her teachers and ALL of her classmates :D
