Last day at Preschool!

Today is Bryn's last day of her first year at preschool! To celebrate, her class was having an icecream party...we supplied the chocolate syrup! Bryn was pumped to give her teachers an end of year thank you gift! We stopped to take lots of pictures...yes, I am that annoying parent...but I wanted to see the changes and growth that can happen in one school year! Are you as shocked as me????!!!

This morning we were all getting ready to head out...Kyle to school and the rest of us to preschool. Kyle peaked in at Ady and found her "doing" her hair. I ran down to grab the camera and this is what I found when I got back into her room! She had so much water dripping that she was trying to lick it as it dribbled off her face! :)

Terrible 2's = Clean house!!

I began to start dinner (sloppy joes) and had the can of Manwich open and ready to pour in when the meat was done cooking. I ran outside to get the mail, and sat down to open and read it. Just then, Ady and Bryn went into the kitchen, and in 2 seconds flat, Bryn says "Mom, Ady has the sauce"....I scurried as fast as I could to find Ady meeting me at the carpet with the can of Manwich! I thought...oh good, I got to her before the mess...but, YEAH RIGHT! I walked into the kitchen with puddles of sauce, splashed onto the baseboards and walls....AND she walked in it, so the carpet did catch a little as well. What a mess!! So, if you are interested in staying busy and getting your house a good cleaning, we can make arrangements for Ady Jade to visit :D

Having a blast at Kalahari!

This weekend we traveled to Sandusky to visit the largest indoor park in America, KALAHARI! Wow, what a great time! Our kids are crazy in the water and loved the slides, wave pool, lazy river and even the dry play area! Bryn was just tall enough to pass for the water roller coster and rode that with me...I think I was more nervous for her than she was for herself! Ady got scolded a few times by the lifegurards...she was known for going down the slides head first, backwards on her belly, sideways, etc...what a maniac! This will definitely be an annual trip :D

Sound bucket...again!

It was Bryn's turn again with the sound bucket...this time with the letter X! How did we get so lucky?? Wow...what a challenge, not only for a 3 1/2 year old, but for her 28 year old mother!! The teacher left a note that we could find things with the letter X in the word (e.g. box, fox, exit). So, here is what we came up with: Exercise Video, Kleenex, Extra gum, number SIX!

Where's the blankie?

Today I said one of the meanest words a mom can say..."it is time to wash the blankies!" After lunch, the kids relaxed to watch some tv before heading up for a nap (as the blankies are in the dryer). I heard Ady go upstairs, and I knew she was headed for her blankie, paci, and baby. Well, after a few minutes of rummaging, this is what she came down with...her paci, baby...and yes, a sheet from Pottery Barn that looks and feels like her blankie! So, here she is all snuggled in with her sheet! :)

Bryn started her new dance class today at the Westerville Rec Center. It is called Dancing Disney Princesses...right up her alley! They are allowed to dress up as a princess for each class...nothing new from Bryn's ordinary everyday. She loved it and had a fantastic time...at the end, she gave me a bow (and I just happened to get that photo)! What a great day :)
