Kindergarten Olympics!

Bryn's college t-shirt day

Bryn is one of the biggest supporters you will ever meet.  She really gets into most spirit days, career day, etc.  Wednesday was college t-shirt day...she decided to go looking in my t-shirt drawer and this is the best we could find!  LOL  At least the sorority letters are small so it wasn't that noticeable!  Oh, and on that particular morning (yes, the dog rarely gets off the front door when Bryn leaves in the am...he is ready to go back in to catch more ZZZZs) Max was watching Bryn wait for the bus and as it was arriving he opened his mouth like he was talking.  I thought that was hilarious and wondered what he would say if he could talk!

Bryn's Fairytale Finale!

Brynleigh's class presented to attending parents their own writings of classic fairytales.  Bryn chose to write about Cinderella.  She shared (and got on the mic without hesitation) with the entire room a comic she thought up about Cinderella and her step mother.  She did a really nice job speaking and wasn't shy at all! :)  Afterwards, she showed us all of the different types of writings (invitation, postcard, comic, etc) that she had worked very hard at!

Adelyn's class trip to the K!

So I feel so badly about not being a good blog updater :( It seems like time gets away from me and I just don't sit down at the computer hardly at all.  So, here comes a few updates of what we have been up to the last few weeks!

Adelyn's class followed the Kindergarten tradition of walking to the K....both Kyle and I got to participate and walk with her and her classmates to get an icecream treat!  Of coarse, Ady choose chocolate :) Oh, and don't mind the missing baby front tooth...that was the product of a recess accident that happened a couple days prior...luckily the dentist took X-Rays and no permanent damage to the new tooth yet to pop through.  She was one lucky lady :)
