City Hayride!

Today we had a hayride...and the kids had a blast with their imaginations!

Parent's Day at Preschool!

Today was parent's day at Stonybrook ELC...Bryn was allowed to pick one person, and we allowed her to choose between us, grandparents, and aunts and uncles. After much debate and careful thinking, Bryn choose Papa. They had a great time and Bryn was sure to look after her Papa! Papa says she knew all her classmates by name and was good at playing with boys and girls alike. She was attentive and eagerly answered the teacher when asked what each star represented on the flag. She also showed good leadership (or shall we call that being bossy - you decide) :D

Hoppy Easter!!

That sneaky Easter Bunny found us no matter where we traveled! He even left us a note to let us know that when he hopped by our house he left us each a book in our bed :)

Ady's 1st visit to the dentist!

Today was Adelyn's first visit to the dentist! The hygienist said she was an excellent first patient and even got her picture taken with a big teddy bear. They got to wear some really cool purple shades to block the light! The hygienist said she has a very strong lower lip (I said from all her pouting :)...but no cavities!

Bryn also had no cavities, but has 4 loose teeth...even after she lost her bottom 2! Dr. Bob says her teeth coming in look nice and big.

Dr. Bob says the girls do a very nice job brushing and have beautiful teeth :)

Go Daddy Go!

Cbus 10 mile race was today...we went to cheer Kyle on but he finished too fast so we met him at the finish line :D The first thing Bryn asked was "Did you win"...life to her is all about winning :)

Happy birthday Ady!

For Ady's 3rd birthday, we celebrated with a weekend of fun! We attended a high school production of The Wizard of Oz, went to the YMCA for some pool fun, and ate at a McDonald's that had a play area! By the day's end, everyone was exhausted, but a fun time was had by all :D

"Happy Tooth Fairy day!"

We put the kids down tonight in a usual routine....15-20 minutes later we heard Bryn yelling about her tooth. I ran up with Kyle lagging behind to find Bryn holding her 2nd loose tooth in her hand (with blood flowing in her mouth). She began to tell her story of how she put her blankie in her mouth then pulled it out and that is when the loose tooth came out!! We cleaned her up (surprisingly the blood did not freak her out!), made a few calls, then put the tooth under her pillow. She was beyond excitement! We took a few pics and she would say "Happy Tooth Fairy day"! She will have many friends to tell tomorrow at preschool :D

Happy (early) Birthday Ady!

This afternoon we had some family over to celebrate Adelyn turning 3 years old! She had a fantastic time and received lots of gifts and books! She got a little shy/embarassed when the attention was completely on her (like when we sang Happy Birthday and opened presents) but she was able to get through it. She enjoyed her "sleeping beauty" cake and took full advantage of indulging in whatever she liked because mom said so..."it's her birthday!!" :D
